jameswells.co.uk is my website, which has for a number of years been far too neglected, and has finally been revamped into a much shinier version. The site itself is built on a combination of existing PHP publishing frameworks, mySQL server and runs on a Linux (CentOS 5) server that I manage myself. It also contains several software components that I have developed myself, including a system for automated collection of photographs from my Flickr account, and posting these on to my Twitter account.

The site is intended to be mostly in order to promote my Photography, but also serves as a way to view my Portfolio of things that I’ve worked on, as well as being a place to publish the articles that I’ve written. It’s also a good project for me to work on in my spare time and try out new developments in Linux or PHP.
